I have to mention two of my favorite new picture books from this year! One is "You forgot your skirt, Amelia Bloomer: a very improper story" by Shana Corey and the other is "Amelia and Eleanor Go for a ride" by Pam Munoz Ryan.
These are great books to springboard into discussions about how things have changed historically for women and how significant actions were made in the past that paved the way for how we live today. I hope that you will consider them relevant to this month's discussion. Thanks!
