How lovely to hear the praise of such a worthy book. When my daughter was about four years old I used to read her passages from Alice and she loved them. We would have tea parties with scones and tarts. Years later, when she was an English major in college, my daughter found a teacher to give her a private seminar in Alice in Wonderland. Now she is studying to become a librarian and i like to think that it was the times we spent making literature come alive and relevent that made her love books.
