I also am somewhat curious as to how Alice is being taught. While obviously this is a children's literature list-serv, I wonder how many people have colleagues who are using Alice in math class?
I first encountered the actual text of AiW/TTLG (I don't remember which, or both) in my junior year of high school (this would have been around 1983-4) during a unit on logic problems, notation, tautologies, etc.
(i.e., "If p, then q"; "if not q, then not p"; "p if and only if q").
If I remember correctly, the text was required, and we had to put together logic diagrams, etc., based on various of the logic "games" or
"riddles."
