As we move into out last few days in our discussion of "Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire," I want to remind those of you in the CCBC-Net community that tonight (Weds Sept 27) at 7:30 pm CST, the third annual Charlotte Zolotow lecture and award presentation will take place at the Wisconsin Union Theater in Madison. This is a free public event, open to anyone who'd like to attend. Jean Craighead George, author of outstanding books for children about the natural world, will deliver a lecture entitled "Words for the Young Child." Prior to her lecture, the Charlotte Zolotow Medal will be awarded to Molly Bang for "When Sophie gets Angry - Really, Really Angry" (The Blue Sky Press / Scholastic) and an Honor citation will be given to Cari Best for "Three Cheers for Catherine the Great!" (Melanie Kroupa
/ DK Ink).

If you can't be at the event in person, you can watch a live webcast of it on the world wide web by going to this URL:

The video from this broadcast will be archived afterwards so it can be viewed at any time.
