The following was sent me by another children's lib'n--a person well known to many of you. I thought that this side of HP would also be of interest. Funny isn't it how a sense of humor disappears when we are so busy trying to save someone else's child from having fun. On the one hand those folk say, "Children today aren't reading." On the other, "But don't let them read Harry Potter." (No, most children today are not reading 18th century didactic prose and warnings about "The Easiest Room in Hell"--thank heavens. I hope I don't fall into trouble sending on a copyright article from LM_Net. (Letter from Kendall McCurdy--I now delete since that's on LM_NET)
"Onion" citation is http://www.theonion.com/onion3625/harry_potter.html
AND please remember that "Onion" is satire, humor and other good things.
