Although I had a difficult time getting into Goblet of Fire, a thirteen year-old-boy I know didn't stop reading the book until he had finished! He felt comforted by Harry's troubles which he found realistic. He also liked the longer length. My husband, who is quick to put down a book he finds boring or effeminate, also was deeply absorbed in the story. (He was also grateful for the plain cover since he took it with him everywhere.:)
