I humbly submit that the Veelas were meant to be laughed at, and so were the guys going gaga over them.
 HP4 is a story that portrays women who get what they want by seductively manipulating men (and the men who love them too much) as being silly. At the same time, it includes a positive portrayal of a young woman who gets what she wants by being smart. What's not feminist about that?
