Brenda's insight into how the NYT list is constructed was very helpful for me. I am intrigued by question at the end of her message about "greater" good and evil. My initial response is that love/compassion are central themes in HP and love/compassion is the "greatest" good, in my opinion. Therefore, Harry demonstrates the greater good in action when he risks all for his fellow man. YKW, his adversary, is certainly symbolic of "greater" evil. Well, that's what I am thinking now.
