Here's hoping that I run into Nancy at the next ALA conference...I can't wait to see those leaps! I'll be looking for you at our Quick Picks meetings for break entertainment.

I clearly remember reading all of these wonderful books while growing up. The first book I purchased from the Tab order form in first grade was a Cleary book, and I am still in possession of it. Now, you must understand how momentous this was because my father was an avid library fan. We were NEVER allowed to purchase any book because that's what the Bookmobile was for.
(Perhaps that explains my book fixation as an adult :) My father must have appreciated her as well to allow me to spend money on a book.
