Henry, Beezus and Ramona

I read Beverly Cleary's books as a child who grew up feeling a lot like Ramona too. Our 7 year old daughter and I read several of the Ramona books this past winter, and our favorite was Ramona The Brave. We laughed and still laugh at the "Oh that old thing" reply that Ramona gave to her dad when he asked to see her report card! Our 4 year old daughter quoted that line just a few days ago, a literary allusion that will live on in our household for some time.
