The Peterson Dickinson book is "The Annerton Pit" -- maybe also published as "The Pit" -- I don't know. A bit of a ghost story and an environmental and terrorist story, as well as heart-stopping adventure in the mine with the blind boy and the old, ill grandpa. This isn't the time to discuss this book, I know, but I found it memorable and compelling -- even terrifying! If Kit's Wilderness is anything like this, I can't wait to read it. Also, Peter D's Seventh Raven is the 2001 Phoenix Award winner -- someone re-issue this, please!
