I've been lurking here for quite a while, but I just wanted to put my two cents in here on "Skellig." I liked the book very much. I found David Almond's style very compelling, and the character of Mina was delightful.
For some reason, while reading it I was reminded of the John Travolta film "Michael." (In a good way!!)
I'm looking forward to Kit's Wilderness.
