Dear Sharon and Joan,
This limb is getting crowded. I've quietly had my own opinion about Skellig. While it was certainly unique I did not see it as a "child's" book. I have lots of parents ask me what would be good for their kids to read -- Skellig never entered my mind. I felt there were too many unanswered questions - a vague sort of unsatisfaction after I finished it but then it really did not intrigue me for long so that was not something to reccomend it. I was surprized by the comments here and intend to reread Skellig and see if I can find what I missed. Mary
