I'd like to extend an invitation to all the participants of the ccbc-net and their friends. I am delighted to announce that I am reissuing one of the novels I loved most as a child: THE MOUSE AND HIS CHILD by Russell Hoban. This new edition is receiving glorious new pictures by David Small, for whom the book was instrumental in his becoming an illustrator.

The more I talk to people about it, the more folks I discover who have special feelings for this story. I'd be grateful if any of you would like to share a comment or anecdote with me, concerning the book.

I'm hoping to share these comments and anecdotes with others "in-house" and in the world as I get the word out about a great work of fiction that many of us loved (and that I think could be loved by many MORE people.)
