I know many people are away for the holiday weekend, but I do invite any of you still tuning in to share any final thoughts you may have on Ana Maria Machado and translated books in general.

I'd also like to take this opportunity to thank Julie Kline for her insightful interview with Ana Maria Machado, which is now available in an online version on the CCBC web page at: http://www.education.wisc.edu/ccbc/machado.htm

Julie's interview is one fo the few resources in English that deals with the work of this latest Hans Christian Andersen winner for writing. Thank you, Julie!

We'll begin our discussion of David Almond's books "Skellig" and
"Kit's Wilderness" on Wednesday, July 5.
