1) MAY, 2000
Picture Book Writing, including the books written (and illustrated) by Molly Bang. We'll talk about the Charlotte Zolotow Award for outstanding picture book writing and its Winners, Honor Books and Commended Books to date. We'll also see what Ursula Nordstrom, Perry Nodelman and Kathleen Horning have written about Picture Book Writing.
2) June, 2000
We'll discuss the books written and/or illustrated by Anthony Browne, winner of the 2000 Hans Christian Andersen Award for Illustration for the body of his work, and we also hope to discuss some of Ana Maria Machado's works, as this Brazilian author is the winner of the 2000 HCA Award for her writing.
3) July, 2000
