I have just read -River Friendly River Wild- and it is at the same time a beautiful and haunting book. The illustration is as powerful as the poetry! It speaks to many emotions at once, as I would guess the experience of being flooded does also. Thank you, Jane, for a terrific book to use with our children. Thanks to Deborah for suggesting it!
"Mad" is probably my favorite - haven't we all felt it! Don't we hate being told to feel "lucky" for what we have when we are grieving for what we have lost?
