That's great news, David! It would be interesting to look at if there is any particular part of the market (i.e. bookseller, library, or school) that is being especially influenced. Too early to tell now, I know, but it would be interesting to look at over the next couple of years.

I edited HARD LOVE by Ellen Wittlinger, and yes, we did see a big bump in orders once the Printz Awards were announced.


..................................................... In the meantime, I have a specific question for the publishers of the Printz Award winner and honor books. Does the award seem to have any noticeable impact on sales? We always hear that the Newbery and Caldecott Awards do, and I'm wondering if that will happen with the Printz Award, as well.
