Lulu, how lovely to hear your voice on this list. Your point about the census numbers is illuminating. But IMHO books with Latino themes should not be considered as being of interest only to Latino peoples. To invoke a parallel in the adult lit world, if that were so, only people of South American origin ought to be reading Isabel Allende, or Pablo Neruda!
