Thank you to CCBC-Net Participants for such engaging comments on the National Book Award nominees "The Birchbark House" and "The Trolls".



We encourage other CCBC-Netters to share their own responses, as well as the responses of others (including children) who have read the books. We are particularly interested in reading your comments about
"Speak" by Laurie Halse Anderson, and the National Book Award Winner,
"When Zachary Beaver Came to Town" by Kimberly Willis Holt in the remaining days of our NBA discussion.

Just as a reminder, the CCBC will be posting the winners of the American Library Association Awards on January 17 on CCBC-Net, at which point our National Book Award discussion will end and our Caldecott Award discussion will commence.
