I love that comment: "Sophie's IN the book. She's perfectly safe." This is so right and expresses what a lot of us are trying to say about things that happen in books, from Harry Potter to Behind the attic wall by Sylvia Cassedy. Some people can't get out of the real world for even a second. How can they be carried away to the wonders of books?
