Maia, your final message on this month's discussion was so eloquent and wise that I have nothing to add except thanks for helping us end
(I think!) on a high note.
However, Ginny Kruse mentioned in an earlier message that I'd make one final post about Harry Potter to let you know about a new feature on our web site:
"Reviews and Distinctions for the U. S. editions of the Harry Potter Books" at: http://www.education.wisc.edu/ccbc/hpreview.htm
We've posted this in response to the many requests we've been getting from teachers, librarians, and parents asking for review citations and other sources of critical info about the Harry Potter books. We are just beginning to get the Best Books of 1999 lists in and will keep the page updated as new information comes to our attention. If any of you have suggestions for additions to the list, please contact me directly at: horning at education.wisc.edu
And now on to our December Discussion!
