Dear all, I couldn't agree more with Angela. Bud, Not Buddy is a wonderful book--clever, comical, and, of course, since it's Curtis, well crafted to deliver a serious message. The book is made all the more compelling (and complete) by the powerful Afterword. Although nothing could replace The Watsons go to Birmingham-63 in my heart, I too am grateful for another masterful text by one of our most extraordinary authors. It was well worth the wait.
