Please try to remember to write messages intended for one person to that person directly.
This means you must begin a new message, rather than hitting the reply button while you have a CCBC-Net message up on your computer.
For example, the question, Nancy Anderson's question was asked on Nov. 30 during the two end/beginning-of-the-month announcement days. She stated in her message that she knew it was an OK time to ask a question. It was. The subsequent messages in response to Nancy's boarding school question could have been sent directly to her. This is not our topic and the announcements are over.
Anyone interested in what someone else might have written to Nancy can ask Nancy directly and she can then respond directly. None of these messages need to come to the entire CCBC-Net community.
Please take time for the few seconds required to write to someone directly when that's necessary.
Thanks, Ginny (for the many people who write directly to me asking how to eliminate unnecessary messages from the CCBC-Net discussion)
