I am writing to post the results of the CCBC Newbery Discussion, which occurred yesterday evening:
Winner: "Theo" by Barbara Harrison (Clarion, 1999)
Honor Books:
1) "The Birthday Room" by Kevin Henkes (Greenwillow, 1999)
2) "Monster" by Walter Dean Myers (HarperCollins, 1999)
