Ok. Some of my favorites have already been mentioned: Speak, by Anderson (it would be my favorite of all if it weren't for what I thought of as a trite ending) Weslandia The Trolls and I don't think it's been mentioned: Bad by Jean Ferris. It came out late in 98--I didn't see it til this year, so it probabaly doesn't count. How I adored this book!!! Has one of the most amazing images/scenes in it. Laurie
