Do we mean "caveat emptor"=let the buyer beware or "caveat lector"=let the reader beware?
Favs: (sorta) "Zachary Beaver"--incredible character an setting development--in the fewest words.
and. a pile of really silly, strongly illustrated books like "Poochini"
(Clement) and almost anything else that is so funny that re-reading adds giggles.
Thought "Dive" very strong--fine writer, tight prose.
Other books are also awaiting a write-up from this far outpost of the world.
Loved seeing photos of frequent contributors to this list in the Nov.
"SLJ". Yep--we receive "SLJ" out here somewhat after the turn of the month of issue. Old problem; no new solutions.
Happy Season of Light--and stay warm.
