Indian Boarding Schools

I signed on to this listserv because I need help in writing a textbook (2/3 complete) that will be published by Longman in 2001. I am hoping we will move forward to discussing literature, because I have several questions. My first question:

I believe Rinaldi's My Heart Is on the Ground was discussed on this listserv before I signed on; however, I am looking for a children's or YA book that depicts the Indian boarding school experience authentically (to contrast with Rinaldi's book). So far, I have only located Hal Borland's When the Legends Die, which Publishers Weekly lists on their all time best-sellers list. Is this book authentically written? What other books are available that have settings in an Indian boarding school?
