Is anyone else bothered by the trend of publishing children's nonfiction in 24-page format? I just received a preview shipment of Rosen books -- "PowerKids Press," they're called. Every single book is 24 pages.
The covers take up more space than the pages.
I'm tempted to just send the whole thing back without even looking at it, just out of anger at this trend. Does anyone else feel the same way? Anyone feel like joining a boycott of these books to send the publishers a message?
