About all those folk who have read the Bible--well, in what language? Which Bible--the REAl one or the other one?

I was one of those lucky (or unlucky-?pending on the afternoon) kids who sat there and learned O.T. in Hebrew and learned--'sorta'--how to translate.

But, I remain amused and astounded at all those folk who know how to read and interpret--but may not really know as much as the experts who even this very day are trying to interpret very old texts written in very old times by very old folk--very old.

Once again, O.T. is being maligned by those who are reading it in several generations of translation from the original. OR IS IT N.T. that they are quoting? I wish they would make themselves clear about just which testament to which they are alluding.

Howmsoever: once again we come to my basic theory: WHY DO THESE PEOPLE DISLIKE CHILDREN ENJOYING READING? Were these folk never children? Did they never enjoy ANYTHING?

Tch. Tch.
