Ann, thanks for mentioning the world building Rowling has done so effectively in Book One, to which she continues to add in subsequent books. As a mere reader, I, too, find that one of the fascinating elements of Harry Potter. I recall hearing a young reader say in an interview that the author's descriptions of this world were so vivid it was "like watching the book."
