Excuse me for disagreeing with you, Arthur, but I don't think that anyone has the "right" to claim that their own very rigid, very narrow, very sectarian religious interpretations are a valid standard for a different sort of discussion. That sort of thing belongs in a church, not on a list where each of us has his or her own private beliefs or lack of them. The purpose of this list is not to discuss personal (and very idiosyncratic) superstitions or sectarian mythologies. We're supposed to be talking about books.
