Maia, I don't want to follow this tangent regarding the "would? censors" too far but just wanted to point out that I was referring directly to the documented cases, reported in the U.S. press, regarding people who are advocating that Harry Potter be removed from the schools. It is accurate, at this point, to call them "would? censors." And if they succeed in their efforts, I will call them as
"censors." I am NOT referring to people who dislike Harry Potter books or who do not want their own children to read them as censors. Please be assured that people in the CCBC-Net community are welcome to express whatever opinions they have about the Harry Potter books this month. I hope we all will be open to listening to each other, even when we disagree.
