Hi Everybody, Remember, this IS the holiday season, with peace on earth and goodwill to all. And I humbly submit that I am pleased to announce that the National Association of Black Storytellers, Inc. have conferred their 1999 Zora Neale Hurston Awards -- given to one or two individuals annually around the country who promote and preserve the oral tradition in the manner of anthropologist and writer Zora Neale Hurston -- to Dr. John Hope Franklin, and to me, children's book author Eleanora E. Tate. There IS still hope left in the world.
