Please, please don't expand Joe's poem, "Birdfoot's Grandpa." It's a beautiful poem. Joe is a wonderful poet, and I would like to see this poem as a picture book. But to add words to it will not/cannot add to the beauty that it already communicates. Sometimes more is less. Thank you.
