Janice, welcome to the CCBC-Net community. I'm glad you have taken the time to read "Monster" and comment about it.

Do you remember at what point in the story you began to suspect that Steve might be an unreliable narrator? I'm asking, in part, because I never got this message and am wondering if I missed something in the text. Or is the suspicion based on experience readers bring to the book?

Anyone else who suspected Steve was an unreliable narrator is also welcome to respond. Guess that would mean just about anyone because I seem to be alone in my belief that he was totally reliable and completely innocent.
