Entering freshmen and women at U. Cal. Berkeley have been assigned a reading list of twelve books. On the list is, I am delighted to report,
"Winnie the Pooh: Complete Tales [assuming they can find Eeyore's) of Winnie the Pooh" by A.A. Milne.
The title was selected by Prof. Marian Diamond, an expert on the brain--perfect for the bear of very little of same.
Rah.
Grandma (who can now enter UCB having read the most important book on the list).
