May's question is one I have been wondering about for some time. Specifically, Mercedes Lackey's _Storm_ series seems to be an ideal young adult novel--teen aged hero, strong characters, well?signed plot--yet _Storm Warning, Storm Rising, and Storm Breaking_ seem to be considered strictly adult. Or are they like Anne McCaffrey's Dragonriders? Those were initially considered only adult, but seem to have become accepted as crossover several years after their publication.
