For years, I've recommended Save Queen of Sheba by Louise Moeri to any adult who would let me. When I first read it, in the early 80's, I pressed it on family members who had no idea of why I was so enthusiastic about children's books. They
(husband, es pecially) began to understand once they had read the book. It has all of the suspense and is better written than most adult fiction. Whenever someone looks cross at me for not keeping up with adult fiction, I hand them S.Q.of S. It works. Unfortunately, my two copies are tattered and worn. I don't know if it's still in print or not. I certainly hope so.
