Another book that I think holds appeal for both adults and children is Suzanne Fisher Staples' Dangerous Skies. It often is compared with Harper Lee's To Kill a Mockingbird, which is an adult book that "crosses over" very well. Many of us remember reading it in 7th or 8th grade. I have many adult friends who are happy to try books which are supposedly written for children, whether as a way to know their children's books or simply to find a good story, well told. Robin Smith
