Andrew was looking for crossover books that weren't fantasies. My favorite is "The Westing Game" by Ellen Raskin, another Newbery winner. I often recommend it to Agatha Christie fans or other mystery readers, especially as it's a Wisconsin author and the story takes place recognizably in Wisconsin.
