On another note: I'm wondering about how successful people think Voigt was in writing from an African-American point of view in "Come A Stranger." Usually when a white author (and honestly, I'm just assuming Voigt is white--I know nothing about her personal life) writes from the point-of-view of another culture, I have to ask why. But in this instance, it just seems to me a natural extension of the rest of the series.
