Yes, this series was a good one. Maybe a little ahead of its time. The three in the series were : Trina Schart Hyman, Margot Zemach, and Erik Blegvad. They were shorter versions of the heavily- illustrated autobiography of Bill Peet. The study of illustrators in the classroom has only come to our school system in the last ten years, so I wonder if someone could make a go of a paperback re-issue of the this eary or mid?'s series?
