Hi CCBC Subscribers,
At the expense of breaking the rules for CCBC messages, I will take the risk this morning to give thanks and praise for the last weekend conference on Historical Fiction. The speakers were superb, all of them and the small group discussions were worthwhile,useful and stimulating. The organizers of the conference had obviously worked hard at organizing the conference and I for one praise them for starting and stopping events on times. So thanks to all the folks who were involved in planning and organizing the conference and to those of you who have not had the privilege of attending this every other year event. Put the dates on your calendar now, for most assuredly the 2001 event will be every bit as good.
