Hello, all. This request is on behalf of Elizabeth Keyser, North American editor of The Cambridge Guide to Children's Books. I'm helping her find writers for certain entries. Right now we're looking for someone knowledgeable about American and Canadian school stories to write a 500-word entry. (This is paid work, but not until publication, so don't expect to receive a cheque too quickly.) The entry should cover the development of the school story in each country, mentioning notable contemporary titles as well. The deadline is the end of April -- hence the urgency.

If you're interested, please contact me directly at: ayg1 at juno.com for further details. (That's a "one", not an "el", after the "ayg".) Thanks for your help.
