Thank you to all who shared comments, thoughts, and responses regarding the Charlotte Zolotow Award books over the past week.
As our discussion comes to a close today, we invite you to share any final comments on Snow, Pete's a Pizza, John Willy and Freddy McGee, Dance, or Circle Dogs, as well as Elizabeti's Doll, Little Clam, and Mama Cat Has Three Kittens, three titles we haven't yet touched on.
I recently heard from the parent of a child who just turned five and she said her son loves Denise Fleming's Mama Cat Has Three Kittens. The humor and pacing is just perfect, she said. And he has already named their next cat (whenever it should arrive): Boris, of course!
