Thanks, Ellen, for reminding us about your book "Freedom's Children: Young Civil Rights Activists Tell Their Own Stories." "Freedom's Children" was one of the books Megan, Katy and I recommended in "CCBC Choices 1993" and also in our publication,
"Multicultural Literature for Children and Young Adults, Vol. Two: 199196." If anyone is interested in details about the latter book, we invite you to visit the CCBC website (see below) where you will find a description of it.
