Let's turn our attention on ccbc-net now to the Newbery Honor Book, A Long Way from Chicago: A Novel in Stories by Richard Peck (Dial).
We've heard from several teachers and librarians here at the CCBC who have been using this funny, warmheated book as a read-aloud, and the students have been enjoying it greatly. Is there anyone from the CCBC-Net community who has firsthand experience using this book with children or young adults who would like to share their responses?
