Has anyone mentioned Bat 6 by Virginia Ewer Wolff (sp?)? The book is written from the perspective of the different players on a girls' softball teams in Washington or Oregon right after World War II. Asian racism is a big part of books as well as poverty, and people dealing with the end of the war and pre adolescence. Michele
