Not for younger kids, but my son, who is now 10, just finished reading
Bill Bradley's new book, Values of the Game, which he loved! It's not
a kid's book, but my son, who is a BIG sports guy - mostly player, but
watcher too - who has not been interested in reading anything about
sports, really got into this book. He and my husband have spent a lot
of time discussing each value (each chapter is a different value
Bradley got from basketball, e.g., Resilience).
